Flow Chart Applications
In the past week, our class learned how to access and use mind-mapping software online. These flow chart applications included Gliffy, Mind42, Mindmesiter. We were divided into three groups to test out these applications. My group was in charge of using the Mind42 software. I would rate this software a 3 out of 10. It was a pretty difficult program to use. My group were pretty confused on how to use the program. I probably would not use this software in my future classroom. The only advantage to it is that it is free. However, the other softwares, Gliffy and Mindmeister, were really good. They are both free as well but are way easier to operate. I would use these softwares and have children create their own flow charts. I could have children do brainstorming, story mapping, creating maps of places and many more activities.
